It all starts with the Volquartsen 6" LLV-4X Competition Upper that features a stainless steel barrel (with stainless steel breech) housed in an aluminum shroud. This design provides match-grade accuracy in a lightweight package. The Universal Red Dot Mount system allows for a variety of popular red dot optics to be mounted to the upper. The Mamba-X also has a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle with a removable single-port comp. The Volquartsen Competition Bolt with DLC Coating ensures smooth operation and functioning while plinking at the range or competing at the highest level. The Mamba-X utilizes a polymer Ruger MK IV 22/45 frame retrofitted with the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit providing a crisp, clean 2.25-lb. trigger pull. The frame has also been fitted with a Volquartsen magazine release that, when used with the Volquartsen Magazine Base Pads (included standard), eliminates feeding issues.
