Can Man Custom Gun Case

Seems everybody has at least one — a steel, green .50 cal. ammo box with maybe a few rust spots and, of course, the famous finger-pinching lid-locking mechanism. Except most of these steel ammo cans are filled with stray screws, nails, or other random fasteners and construction paraphernalia. If yours is actually filled with ammo, good for you. Bonus points if it’s .50 cal. While these basic, green steel cans are somewhat useful, Joe Lake, AKA the Can Man, turns them into functional masterpieces bordering on works of art.

The crimson red beauty you see here was once a basic olive drab can. Now it’s not only good looking but also lined with foam featuring cutouts to hold two handguns and several magazines — protecting all sides of all gear. And it’s got a locking post and comes with a Master lock to keep whatever’s inside — inside. But this isn’t just a pretty-up, insert-foam and sell it kind of project. Can Man cases feature good-lookin’ and durable Hammertone powder-coated bottoms and Cerakote tops. Press the familiar locking mechanism in place, snap it down and you’ve got a waterproof case that’ll store a couple six-guns or 1911’s and a bunch of ammo while standing up to just about anything. Fill ’em, lock ’em, stack ’em. Take ’em outside or on the water. They’re like airtight mini-safes for your guns and gear. Can Man Custom Gun Cases come in super cool color schemes such as chrome dipped, flat dark earth, gloss black, burnt copper with coyote tan top, pink with white, Ford-branded, John Deere-branded and more! Prices vary but the crimson red version is $75.
