Securing a long gun doesn’t have to mean keeping it physically contained in a safe. Nor does it have to mean completely unloading it and running a cable lock through the open action. Sometimes you want fast access to that gun — and it very well better be loaded and ready. ShotLock AR Solo-Vault offers both secure storage and fast access to AR platform rifles with pistol grips. Made from 14-gauge steel, the AR Solo-Vault offers a no-pry lid with dual locking hooks. A robust mechanical 5-button lock offers 1,000+ user-set combinations for fast access. Set a personal combination, click it in, turn the dial, and presto —AR in hand, ready to go.

You can lock an AR in the Solo-Vault and put it in a drawer or under a bed or couch. Or, mount the AR Solo-Vault on a wall, perhaps hidden in a closet. The vault’s design gladly accommodates multiple barrel lengths, standard AR magazines and also offers an opening for just about any mounted optic you might have. While the vault’s lock and steel exterior keep unauthorized people from accessing what’s inside, its interior features foam padding protecting and holding the rifle in place. AR Solo-Vault’s exterior measures 16.6″ x 10.4″ x 2.6″. On the inside, the measurements are 15.9″ x 8.6″ x 2.5″. For the record, the rifle you see in this Solo-Vault is an Anderson AM-15 with a standard carry handle on the top rail. What you can’t see is its 30-round magazine. All the important parts fit perfectly in the Solo Vault. I could hide a couple other small accessories in it, too, if needed. Easily in and locked and click, click, click, click, turn — easy out. ShotLock AR Solo-Vault retails for $199.00. For more info, www.americanhandgunner.com/index, (800) 852-0400
