Beretta 21A Bobcat

With Buffalo Bore .25 ACP
120

The Beretta 21A Bobcat has long been one of those classic “always there” pocket guns — tiny, simple and easy to carry. But what happens when you pair it with some modern, heavy-duty ammunition?

Roy Huntington runs a few rounds of Buffalo Bore .25 ACP hard cast flat-nosed loads through a well-used Bobcat. The 60-grain bullet is advertised at about 850 fps, and surprisingly, the chronograph numbers came pretty close to that claim — impressive for such a small pistol.

To see what the little gun could do, six rounds were fired offhand at 15 yards. Considering the Bobcat’s nearly nonexistent sights and tiny sight radius, the results were surprisingly respectable.
