You can train for accuracy by dry firing, sure. You can also train for accuracy and strengthen your grip with a grip strengthener. If possible, use a grip strengthener with individual finger pads and springs — that way you can isolate your trigger finger for exercise. And for an even higher level of training, use a ProHands Tactical strengthener (retail $34.95). This device includes a laser allowing you to focus on a target while doing the strengthening exercises.

Putting the squeeze on the ProHands for a full-grip workout. This is the “Medium Tension” model (for “average” hands). Note: I could use the laser for this or simply remove it. By the way, be wise about using this device with the laser in public. You never know what people might think. Know the law regarding lasers, too.

ProHands Tactical comes fully assembled and includes two batteries. Power the laser on and off using the button on the top. You can adjust the laser left/right and up/down with a small Allen wrench.

With the included stabilizer plugs installed, this becomes a trigger finger workout and the mode by which the laser best helps keep you on target. “Aim” at a target, squeeze the “trigger”, keep the laser on the target…

ProHands includes a complete exercise program for their four hand exercising devices.
