Sunnybag LEAF MINI Solar Charger
I added a box of ammo to the picture so you could appreciate the small size of this solar-generation panel. It’s just 7 x 9 ½”, including the mounting loops on the corners, and weighs next to nothing.
The idea is to place it somewhere in sunlight, and it will spit out up to 1 amp at 5 volts of free smartphone or other device-charging power. The USB adapter has three LED lights that show you the power output with an estimate of how long it will take to fully charge a smartphone. In direct sunlight, it’ll charge my phone in 2 to 3 hours. With more indirect light or on cloudier days, count on more time. Use those loops to hang it on your backpack or anything else.
Whether on remote range days, camping, hiking or as a car emergency kit addition, you’ll always have indefinite power for USB devices. Just to be clear, there’s no storage battery; it’s a direct charge system.
