Derringer "T.O.E.S." Tactical Operator Enhancement System

49

A while ago, I made a video using this very Derringer .38 Special to see how accurate it was from 5, 10, and 15 yards. What I found was that each barrel on its own is actually pretty accurate. Unfortunately, they’re regulated like a maniac did it. One will shoot like three feet different from the other one, and that’s the nature of the beast.

But at the end of the video, I kind of casually said, maybe I should put a red dot or something on it. So, since these are made for basically toe-to-toe fighting, I call this the Tactical Operator Enhancement System, which, of course, is abbreviated as TOES.

A bargain-bin red dot, a cheap laser and about an hour in the shop transformed this already questionable pocket pistol into something that looks like a late-night internet experiment gone horribly wrong.
