If you read any of my articles in American Handgunner and GUNS Magazine, then you know that I enjoy Cowboy Action Shooting. So, my heart goes pitter-patter whenever I see real color case hardening, which is exactly what Pietta has done with their premier line.

Imports often have a cyanide bath-type color case hardening. However, the Pietta Premier revolvers are made in Italy, then disassembled and shipped to South Dakota, where they’re refinished with real color case hardening and reassembled.
